Application Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-user support for various applications/Mobile applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless operation.

  • Diagnose and resolve application-related problems, escalating issues as needed to the development or technical teams.

  • Assist in debugging and testing applications to identify and rectify errors, bugs, or glitches.

  • Collaborate with the development team to contribute to the improvement and enhancement of applications.

  • Participate in the planning and execution of application upgrades and patches.

  • Document support processes and create knowledge base articles for end-users.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to other IT teams and departments.

  • Monitor application performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 4+ Yrs of Exp

  • Proven experience in application support, debugging, and IT support.
    Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting application issues and performing debugging tasks.

  • Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies.

  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach to support.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages and database management is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Android and iOS Applications support

  • Exposure to coredava or ionic or swift is added advantage
